Who We Are
NABULWA RURAL INITIATIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT (NARIDE) is a registered Non-Profit Organization that embraces all people irrespective of their religious, political and racial affiliations. It was born out of the conviction and desire of the members to respond and contribute towards socio-economic transformation and development of rural communities in Uganda.

A. Sustainable Agriculture & Environment
Improving household food security and income by promoting sustainable agricultural practices, post-harvest handling, cooperative marketing, and entrepreneurship for youth and women across Pallisa, Kibuku, Butebo, Butaleja, Tororo, Busia, and Namayingo.

Improving access to clean and safe water through community-based water management, Bio-sand filter technologies, promotion of hygiene practices, and construction of sanitation facilities. NARIDE has partnered with WaterAid to construct water reservoirs in 50 schools of Mbale City.
